The technological development of three-dimensional animation has become an irreversible trend. When three-dimensional animation technology is integrated into the field of movies, new art forms and different cultural concepts are created. This combination not only enriches the expression of the movie, but also promotes the integration and exchange of global culture. From the visual animation design as well as the music score, the collision and fusion of eastern and western cultural elements are demonstrated from various basic elements. As the audience’s demand for multicultural experiences increases, this combination will lead the future development of 3D animated movies.
When I searched for information on globalization and cultural integration, I found that with the acceleration of globalization, the audience’s interest in different cultural backgrounds is increasing. 3D animated movies have gone on to attract global audiences and expand their market coverage by integrating elements of Eastern and Western cultures. For example, the familiar Kung Fu Panda series has successfully integrated Chinese cultural elements into the Western narrative structure and gained popularity among global audiences.

This also made me decide to analyze the 3D animation film production market from the perspective of “technological advancement and innovation”: Based on the advancement of 3D animation technology, the production of films has become more detailed and realistic, and is able to present more colorful visual effects. This provides a broader expression space for the fusion of Eastern and Western cultures, allowing traditional patterns and cultural elements to be perfectly reproduced through advanced technological means.
So I decided to take “big hero 6” as an example to analyze how 3D animation can be better integrated under the hybridization of Eastern and Western cultures to meet the needs of the mass market.
